Dr. Stan Fike Pastor

Dear Family of Faith, Who would ever think that 31 years could fly by so quickly? It seems like just a moment ago when my family and I first moved to Princeton and fell in love with this community. I count it a joy and a privilege to be called Pastor by this wonderful Family of Faith and praise the Lord for how He has blessed us together. I look forward with eager expectation to the days and years ahead, because I know that God will continue to draw us to Himself as we seek Him together.

I love how Paul addressed the church of Thessalonica in our recent Sunday School Bible study...

2 We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father, 4 knowing, brethren beloved by God, His choice of you; 5 for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake. (1 Thess. 1:2-5)

Becky and I often thank God for the blessing you have been to our lives through good times and bad. We count it a privilege to have walked with so many precious brothers and sisters in Christ through the spiritual journey of everyday life. We have seen God use you in mighty ways through your "works of faith" and "labors of love." I also love that, as a whole, the members of Faith have maintained their hope in our Lord Jesus Christ and our loving Father God who called us to Himself through the Gospel. We pray that we will continue to honor the Word of God, but also experience the power of the Holy Spirit daily. I realize that I often fall short of all that God has in mind, but I hope that over the past 25 years I have set an example of one who passionately desires to know Christ and to make Him known.

If the Lord allows another 25 years, I pray that we will continue to grow in our understanding of how awesome God's love and grace is toward us. I pray that we will seek Christ passionately and share Him with others fervently. I pray that the message of salvation will sound forth from Faith until every person in the Princeton area has heard a heartfelt invitation to Christ. I pray that we will love each other deeply, care for people's needs lovingly, and teach God's Word boldly and accurately. I pray that Christ will be exalted and God will be glorified in everything we say and do.

By the way, have I told you lately that I love you... because I do. Thank you for 25 wonderful years. In Christ,

Bro Stan
